Candice
Arnold has devoted much of her life to the sport of ice hockey. Having begun playing at the age of 10 she has skated with the Washington
Little
Caps and Buffalo State College at the NCAA level. In addition she
served as an Assistant Coach at Muhlenberg College for three seasons.
Presently she is committed to growing Hockey Fights MS and the cause. In the summer of 2005 Candice was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Rather than accepting defeat she chose to take up the cause, and within weeks the idea for this tournament was born. The 1st Annual Hockey Fights MS Tournament, held in 2006 was a great success as we raised $4,700, far exceeding our goal of $3,000. Players representing PA, NJ, NY, MA, and ME came to support the cause.
All proceeds from the Hockey Fights MS Tournament are donated to help fund the search for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
